This Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy outlines the terms and conditions applicable to orders placed using the COD payment method on PADMA DROP, operated by PATRO BROTHERS PRIVATE LIMITED.
AVAILABILITY OF COD
Cash on Delivery (COD) is available for selected products and locations across India, subject to serviceability by our logistics partners.
The availability of COD will be shown at the time of checkout based on your delivery address.
COD ORDER CONFIRMATION
To ensure genuine orders and prevent misuse, all COD orders may be subject to verification.
PADMA DROP reserves the right to:
- Contact customers via phone call, SMS, or WhatsApp for order confirmation
- Cancel orders if confirmation is not received or if the contact details are unreachable
Orders that are not verified may not be processed or shipped.
COD CHARGES
Additional COD handling charges may apply depending on the order value, product type, or delivery location.
Any applicable COD charges will be clearly displayed at the time of checkout before order confirmation.
ORDER LIMITATION
PADMA DROP reserves the right to limit or restrict COD orders based on:
- Order value
- Customer order history
- Delivery location
- Risk assessment by our system
For high-value orders, prepaid payment may be required.
DELIVERY AND PAYMENT
Customers must make full payment in cash at the time of delivery.
- Partial payments are not accepted
- Customers are advised to keep exact change ready, where possible
Failure to make payment at the time of delivery will result in order cancellation.
REFUSAL OF DELIVERY
If a customer refuses to accept a COD order at the time of delivery without a valid reason, it will be considered misuse of the COD service.
In such cases:
- The order will be marked as Return to Origin (RTO)
- Future COD orders may be restricted or permanently blocked for the customer
REPEATED FAILED ORDERS
Customers with a history of:
- Order refusals
- Non-acceptance of deliveries
- Fake or unverifiable orders
may be restricted from using COD in the future.
PADMA DROP reserves the right to take necessary action to prevent misuse.
RETURN TO ORIGIN (RTO)
If a COD order is returned due to:
- Customer unavailability
- Incorrect address
- Refusal to accept
the shipment will be returned to our facility.
Repeated RTO cases may lead to:
- Blocking of COD facility
- Requirement of prepaid orders for future purchases
FRAUD PREVENTION
To maintain service quality and prevent losses, PADMA DROP actively monitors COD orders for suspicious activity.
We reserve the right to:
- Cancel suspicious orders
- Restrict COD access
- Take necessary actions in case of misuse or fraudulent behavior
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate name, address, and contact details
- Being available at the time of delivery
- Accepting genuine orders placed by them
Failure to comply may affect future ordering privileges.
